Overall efficacy of NSAID therapy and its distribution among the 3 groups. Overall efficacy of NSAID therapy is considered in all routes of administration (149 patients) when patients reported at least 50 % reduction of pain. Bi-variate analysis and cross-tabulation between different routes of administration and the efficacy of NSAID treatment were done to identify if there is a significant difference of efficacy when distributed among the 3 groups. No significant difference in efficacy between topical versus systemic (p value = 0.99) and topical versus combination of NSAID therapy (p value = 0.14)
