Data were expressed as mean values with standard deviation (SD). Patients and control group differences were tested using analysis of variance (ANOVA). After ANOVA, pairwise group comparisons were performed using an LSD test with homogeneity of variance parameters and a Games–Howell inspection of the heterogeneity of variance parameters
