Photos are taken by an optical microscope using a ×100 magnification. All scale bars indicate a length of 10 µm. While the size of the nanocrystalline diamond spheres is proportional to the C2/Hα-ratio, a higher nucleation rate can be observed as the C2/Hα-ratio is reduced
