Changes of antioxidant enzyme activity during rooting. Activities of a PPO, b CAT, and c POD were measured 7, 21, 35, and 49 days after shoots were transferred into media containing 0.01 μM IAA. Shoots for the control were derived from genotype 1-721 and were transferred to media without IAA. Each experiment was replicated five times, and each replicate consisted of 6–8 samples. Values represent the mean ± SD. Values followed by one asterisk are significantly different from the corresponding control value (P < 0.05; n = 5) by ANOVA
