Clinical features

Fever

Body temperature > 38.3 °C

Tachycardia

Heart rate > 120 beats/min or >100 beats/min with β-blocker

Hypertension

Systolic blood pressure > 160 mmHg or pulse pressure > 80 mmHg

Tachypnea

Respiratory rate > 30 breaths/min

Excessive diaphoresis

 

Extensor posturing or severe dystonia
