Immunostaining for active cleaved caspase-3 (AbCam, ab77973) verified that cleaved active caspase-3 was higher in the cells cytosol when grown in control media and stressed with 200 µM  H₂O₂, while the cells grown in media supplemented with H-pro before being stressed with 200 µM H₂O₂ had almost no active cleaved caspase-3.
