Luteolin inhibits MPA-induced VEGF mRNA expression in T47-D breast cancer cells. T47-D cells were treated at 37 °C for 6 h with 10 nM MPA ± 25 µM luteolin (LU) or 1 µM RU-486 (RU), or 25 µM LU or 1 µM RU-486 alone, after which RNA was isolated and RT-PCR for VEGF isoforms performed.
