Luteolin reduces human breast cancer cell viability. T47-D (a) and BT-474 (b) breast cancer cells were seeded overnight in a 96-well plate (0.5 × 104 cells/well and 1 × 104 cells/well, respectively). Cells were then washed and treated with the indicated concentration of luteolin (LU) for either 24 or 48 h. Cell viability was determined using SRB assays. Results represent mean ± SEM (n = 3, in six replicates). *Significantly different from control (DMSO only) (P < 0.05, ANOVA)
