The location of the image of the upper limb is at the level of the largest anatomical cross sectional area (ACSA) of the upper arm muscle. That of the lower limb is the ACSA at the level of 50% of the thigh. Subcutaneous fat, triceps brachii muscle, biceps brachii muscle, quadriceps femoris muscle, hamstrings muscle, humerus, and femur are outlined.
