During the course of investigation, we tried identifying the Trichoderma isolates by sequencing the partial region of ITS gene but with the reviewer’s suggestions, we realized that sequencing a section of TEF1-alpha gene would be better for the identification of the isolates and hence did this part of the work. Based on TEF1-alpha sequencing data, the strain TaDOR673 was identified as T. longibrachiatum and TaDOR693 was identified as T. harzianum and they were accordingly named so in the tables. But the nomenclature of the isolates (TaDOR673 and TaDOR693) was not changed in the rest of the manuscript. Therefore, the isolates may please be read as T. longibrachiatum, TaDOR673 and Tharzianum, TaDOR693 but not as T. asperellum isolates. The oversight is highly regretted by the authors.
