PS-F2 treatment attenuates inflammatory cell infiltration of the airways. Mice were immunized, treated, and challenged as described in Figure 1. On day 28, lung sections were prepared, stained with hematoxylin and eosin, and photographed under light microscopy at × 400 magnification (scale bar = 50 μm). Prominent infiltrates of inflammatory cells are present in OVA group mice but not in PBS and PS-F2 group mice.
