These inversions are conducted for synthetic borehole ERT data (contaminated with 0.6% simulation errors) before and after adding 3% random noise error. The low residuals (average <9%) reflect well the advantage of constraining of ERT inversions by the seismic mapping results for an accurate reconstruction of the gas phase of downward gradual desaturation.
