  1. GI groups were categorized as follows; Group I: no abdominal pain, Group II: abdominal pain without fecal hemoglobin, Group III: abdominal pain and positive for fecal hemoglobin, but negative for gross blood in stools, and Group IV: presence of gross blood in stools.
