Profiles were similar for younger and older girls and boys (F-tests (df 3,69) ns), with one exception that physical self concepts were higher for boys than girls (0.56 SD). b. Age had no influence (range in β from −0.21 to 0.27) with two exceptions for social strategies (β = 0.34, p < .05) and feeling positive about movement (β = 0.37, p < .05).
