Note: workload at 30 mins of MIIT was lower than workload at 5 and 15 mins of MIIT. There was a significant effect of training period (weeks) (p ≤ 0.001), and an interaction between intensity and training period (weeks) on RPE (p ≤ 0.05). MIIT-1-4: moderate-intensity interval training at weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4; HIIT-1-4: high-intensity interval training at week 1, 2, 3 and 4.
