Fertilizer release profiles of RTDVs in deionized water. The hydrogels were loaded with 20-20-20 fertilizer at 22% (“blue triangle symbol” RTDV 1), 33% (“red circle symbol” RTDV 2) and 44% (“black square symbol” RTDV 3) dose levels. The amount of fertilizer released (mean ± S.D., n = 3) was quantified using UV-Visible spectrophotometry.
