C3a/C5a induce proliferation and migration in CPCs. A) CPCs treated with C3a and C5a showed an increase in DNA 3H-thymidine incorporation with respect to the control. B) CPCs migrated towards C3a and C5a gradients when migration was assessed in a Boiden chamber assay. The optimal doses for both proliferation and migration are C3a = 50 nM and C5a = 15 nM.
