Profiles P27 to P40 showing the morphological behaviour of Channel 4A. Initially flowing from NW–SE, the channel shifts near P36 to follow a more NNW–SSE trend. A higher gradient, similar to the behaviour of Channel 1 can be noted. Typical depositional features like stepped terraces, levees and point bars are clearly visible.
