Effects of the administration of cationic amino acids to mice on plasma levels of potassium. l-Arginine HCl, l-lysine HCl and l-ornithine HCl (4 g/kg) were given intraperitoneally (two injections, 1 h apart) and plasma potassium was determined 2 h after the last injection.
