No E and N motifs in High molecular weight glutenins

There seems to be a problem with the article published in SpringerPlus by Jiang et al. (SpringerPlus 2013, 2:152) Characterization of x-type high-molecular-weight glutenin promoters (x-HGP) from different genomes in Triticeae.
The paper is on promoter sequences of high molecular weight glutenins of different Triticeae.
The authors claim that there are E (TGTAAATC) and N (TGAGTCAT) motifs in these sequences, but actually there are no such sequence motifs in the promoters of HMW glutenin. Furthermore, the sequence depicted in figure 3 of the paper corresponding to Triticum urartu (first line of the alignment) is not matching to any of the the sequences of Triticeae found in Blast queries of genebanks. Can you comment on this?
